If you wish to work or study in New Zealand, you require an appropriate visa. The New Zealand immigration service grants visas, in a number of different categories. Temporary work visas can be granted to those with specialist skills, or to people who will work in the horticulture industry. New Zealand also offers working holiday visa to residents from a number of countries, including many of the countries on the visa waiver list above (not all though). You must be aged between 18 and 30 to get a working holiday visa. Student visas are also available if you are enrolled a NZ Qualification Authority approved course for longer than three months.
