With more than 200 stores, Slyviva Park is one of Auckland's newest and best shopping centres covering six and half acres of space. It's billed as “This is the place!” and with stores ranging from fashion to food, gifts and homewares from movies, books and dinning, they could just well be right. It claims to be the largest shopping centre in New Zealand.
It's all on the one level so they are no flights of stairs or elevators to deal with.
The women’s clothing stores include the big names. Jacqui E, Sussan, Caroline Eve, supre and Stax who all sell ready to wear clothing that as stylish in the office as it is at home or a night out. If it's books you want, there at least 4 book shops. The largest being Borders which is spread over 2 levels.
Special mention must be made about the Hoyts Cinema and the premium experience of La premiere. Your seated in your own private booth which includes private lighting side tables and reclining chairs and you can choose from a luxury dining menu that reads like a fine dinning menu. Dishes like macadamia chicken and saltimbocca pizza and for dsert what about tiramisu? This is movie watching at it's sheer indulgent best.
After that you can choose of the 7 restaurants to have dinner in. From a gourmet burger bar to a Japanese restaurant you'll definitely something to whet your appetite. Inside during opening hours, there are over 25 options in various food courts scattered around the building!
Bus and train connections run straight to the shopping centre as there no real walking distance.
